There was no ready access to market for theproduced seed as the crop was new in the community.However, efforts were made to link the farmers to the seedcompanies and the Agricultural Development Projects in the twoStates in an effort to improve marketing of seed. The open days heldin the two locations have improved awareness of other farmers in thecommunities of the availability of the seed. Indeed, many farmers hadrequested seed from the farmers before harvesting.Lack of a true spirit of association. Farmers are working as individualseven though they are in associations. This affects their production andmarket access and bargaining power.
