Fold Back tapers the current limit curve as shown in Figure 66. Fold Backcan be activated or deactivated from the keypad display.Fault ResetFAULT RESETNOYES,LOGIC IN: ---,† & ENT to modifyESC to quitEnabling Fault Reset allows the drive controller to be reset when in TerminalCommand mode after tripping on certain faults when an assigned logic input ishigh. To enable Fault Reset, select Yes and assign a logic input. The faults resettablewith this function are: Overvoltage, DC-Bus Overvoltage, Output Phase Loss,Drive Overtemperature, Motor Overload, Loss of Follower, Sequence time-outfault, and Process time-out fault. When in Keypad Command mode (page 65) afunction key can be programmed for Fault Reset.Dynamic Brake FaultOutput Phase FaultDB Fault is available on drive controllers with dynamic braking. Enabling thefunction allows the drive controller to protect the resistor and connection bygenerating a fault if the DB resistor connection is open.Output Phase Fault is used to detect a loss of output phase. The fault can beinhibited by setting to No for troubleshooting or when the motor connected to thedrive controller is less than 45% of drive controller power. Output Phase Fault isautomatically disabled when the Bypass function is used or the drive controller isoperated at less than 33% of nominal frequency.NOTE: Output Phase Fault should be left enabled, except for the reasons stated above. If itmust be disabled (either <strong>manual</strong>ly or by the selection of the Bypass function), always supplyan external motor overload relay. Operation with the presence of an Output Phase Faultcan affect the calibration of the Motor Overload Protection function of the drive controller.108 © 1996 Square D All Rights Reservedηττπ://νιχοντρολσ.χοm
