Bulletin No. 50006-519-01BChapter 5 — ConfigurationDecember 1996 7 → General Configuration MenuSet Current Limit to Default Limit, or enter a reduced value and select one of theactivation methods:• Frequency Level: when the drive controller exceeds the programmedfrequency level the reduced Current Limit value is activated. To keep thereduced Current Limit value active at all times, set frequency level to 0.• Logic Input: assign a logic input to Current Limit (see Figure 44 on page 74 forprocedure). When the assigned logic input is low (state 0), the Current Limitvalue is the default setting. When it is high (state 1), the Current Limit is thereduced value.• Analog Input: assign an analog input to Current Limit (see Figure 43 on page73 for procedure). The set current limit is ignored and the analog input isscaled so that the adjustment range of current limit is 40% to 110% of the drivecontroller current. Consult motor manufacturer before operating motor aboverated speed.• Under certain steady-state and transient conditions, the output frequency mayreach 120% of Maximum Frequency setting. Adjust Maximum Frequencyparameter accordingly.Failure to follow this instruction can result in injury or equipment damage.Maximum Frequency clamps the High Speed setting.
