Bulletin No. 50006-519-01BChapter 5 — ConfigurationDecember 1996 7 → General Configuration MenuIf the application requires it, a logic output can be assigned to the Shutdownfunction. When dwell time has expired, the drive controller activates the logicoutput to indicate end of functioning at Low Speed.Note that if a Run command is issued during the dwell time, it is not taken intoaccount until the end of the dwell time.f (Hz)LSPt1LI2 0tDwell Time1LO1 0tFigure 55: Shutdown Timing Diagram (2-Wire Command)BypassBYPASSNOYES,DEFINE I/ODELAY TIMESEQUENCE TofPROCESS Tof: s: s: sNOTE: Do not set Bypassfunction if the drive controlleris part of a Class 8839ALTIVAR 56 combinationdevice.ENTESCBYPASS I/OSEQUENCE INPUT :----PROCESS INPUT :----RUN OUT. The bypasscontactor and associated power circuit components permit starting, running andstopping of the motor directly from line power. Bypass operation requires thewiring scheme illustrated in Figure 58 on page 87.To use Bypass, assign a logic input (LI3 for example) to Sequence Input and relayoutput R2 to Run Output Command. Set time values for Delay Time and SequenceTof (Time Out Fault). If desired, logic input LI4 can be assigned to Process Inputand a time value for Process Tof (Time-out Fault) can be set to verify an optionaluser-defined event. These parameters are described in Table 56.© 1996 Square D All Rights Reserved85ηττπ://νιχοντρολσ.χοm
