Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits (Chapter 31)<br />

Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits (Chapter 31) are available for veterans<br />

who have a service-related disability of 20% or more. Students can ascertain<br />

their eligibility for vocational rehabilitation benefits by calling the VA office in<br />

Newington at 1-800-827-1000. Chapter 31 benefits provide eligible students<br />

with a monthly stipend, <strong>and</strong> all costs for tuition, books, <strong>and</strong> supplies are<br />

covered by the VA.<br />

MCC Graduate Transfers<br />

<strong>Manchester</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> students are able to transfer to many colleges<br />

<strong>and</strong> universities. Because requirements of baccalaureate institutions<br />

vary greatly, students should select a transfer institution early <strong>and</strong> consult<br />

with a counselor or program coordinator as to the transferability of their course<br />

selections.<br />
