Fee Deposit - Non-Refundable<br />
Full-time <strong>and</strong> part-time students at the time of registration must pay a nonrefundable<br />
deposit of all fees applicable to the courses for which registered,<br />
including courses for audit, exclusive of tuition.<br />
The total tuition applicable to the courses for which registered, including<br />
courses for audit, is payable in one installment <strong>and</strong> is due six weeks before<br />
the first day of classes unless a deferred payment schedule, in accordance<br />
with approved Board of Trustees policy, has been approved.<br />
Installment Payment Plan<br />
An Installment Payment Plan is available to students who are registered for a<br />
minimum of eight (8) semester hours. Students may apply for an installment<br />
payment plan at the time of registration. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee<br />
for participation in the plan.<br />
Footnotes:<br />
1) Students enrolled in General Fund Tuition courses <strong>and</strong>/or Educational<br />
Extension Fund courses carrying 12 semester hours or more will be classified<br />
as full-time students for general fee purposes.<br />
2) Waivers:<br />
a. Complete waiver of tuition for dependent child of person missing in<br />
action or former prisoner of war.<br />
b. The Connecticut Tuition Waiver is available for veterans who served on<br />
active duty (for at least 90 days) in the U.S. Armed Forces during time of<br />
war <strong>and</strong> were released from active duty under honorable conditions. The<br />
periods of conflict are: the Vietnam Era (1/1/64 to 7/1/75), the Korean<br />
hostilities (6/27/50 to 10/27/53), World War II (12/7/41 to 12/31/46),<br />
World War I (4/6/17 to 11/11/18) <strong>and</strong> any previous periods of conflict<br />
as far back as the Spanish-American War (4/21/1898 to 8/13/1898). The<br />
100 percent tuition waiver is available for veterans if they are residents<br />
when accepted for admission.
