Configuring <strong>HP</strong>OM<br />

About Variables<br />

Returns the default value <strong>for</strong> the severity of the<br />

message. This is set in the Message Defaults section of<br />

the Add/Modify Logfile, Add/Modify Console<br />

Messages, Add/Modify Interface Messages<br />

window.<br />

Sample output:<br />

Normal<br />

<br />

Returns the original text of the message. This is the<br />

source text that is matched against the message text<br />

pattern in each condition. This variable returns an<br />

empty string when used in threshold monitor<br />

templates.<br />

Returns the time the message was created in seconds<br />

since January 1, 1970.<br />

Returns the default name set <strong>for</strong> Message Type. This<br />

name is set in the Add/Modify Console Messages or<br />

Condition No. window.<br />

Returns the name of the current <strong>HP</strong> <strong>Operations</strong><br />

management server. Cannot be used in definitions of<br />

message key relations.<br />
