14 Instructions (empty string if not available). The instructions<br />

are passed without quotation marks (""), backslashes (\), or<br />

other characters that might be interpreted by a <strong>UNIX</strong> shell.<br />

Example:<br />

This is the instruction text <strong>for</strong> the appropriate<br />

message condition. It is available <strong>for</strong> the operator<br />

when a message matching this condition displays in<br />

the Message Browser.<br />

15 Custom message attributes (empty string if not available).<br />

Multiple name=value pairs are separated with two semi-colons<br />

(;;).<br />

America<br />

16 Number of suppressed duplicate messages.<br />

This number is 0 unless at least one of the following<br />

parameters has been set to TRUE using the ovconfchg<br />

command-line tool:<br />

• OPC_NOTIF_WHEN_DUPLICATE<br />

Passes duplicates to the interfaces with a 16th parameter<br />

containing the duplicate counter. The counter is zero if it is<br />

the first message or this feature is not switched on.<br />

• OPC_TT_WHEN_DUPLICATE<br />

Passes messages to trouble ticket systems even if they are<br />

duplicates of other messages.<br />
