6. Start <strong>HP</strong> Software.<br />

Start <strong>HP</strong> Software and all other integrated services (including<br />

<strong>HP</strong>OM):<br />

/opt/OV/bin/ovstart<br />

7. Enable the HARG monitoring.<br />

Enter the following:<br />

/opt/OV/lbin/ovharg -monitor ov-server enable<br />

At this point, the agent starts <strong>for</strong>warding its buffered messages.<br />

8. Log in to the Java GUI.<br />

Enter the following:<br />

/opt/OV/bin/OpC/ito_op<br />

9. If NNM discovery is disabled on the management server.<br />

If NNM discovery is disabled, per<strong>for</strong>m the following steps. If NNM<br />

discovery is enabled, you can skip these steps.<br />

a. Create a new application registration file.<br />
