Server-based flexible management is the recommended message<br />

<strong>for</strong>warding solution <strong>for</strong> <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> Windows 7.5. It uses the same<br />

message <strong>for</strong>warding and synchronizing techniques used in <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>UNIX</strong>. It allows <strong>for</strong>warding messages directly from one management<br />

server to other management servers, including <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> <strong>UNIX</strong><br />

To configure an <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> Windows management server to <strong>for</strong>ward<br />

messages to <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> <strong>UNIX</strong>, per<strong>for</strong>m these procedures:<br />

1. Configure <strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> <strong>UNIX</strong> to accept messages <strong>for</strong>warded from a<br />

<strong>HP</strong>OM <strong>for</strong> Windows management server.<br />
