b. Create a new OV Service in the OV Services application<br />

group.<br />

Add a new OV Service with the following fields:<br />

Application Name:<br />

Field Change<br />

Label:<br />

Field Change<br />

Description:<br />

Field Change application<br />

OV Registration Application Name: Field Change<br />

c. Assign the Field Change OV Service to the administrator.<br />

If the OV Services application group is not assigned to the<br />

administrator, you must separately assign the Field Change OV<br />

Service to opc_adm:<br />

1. In the User Bank window, select opc_adm, then select<br />

Actions:User->Modify… from the menu bar.<br />

2. Click [Applications…] and select the Field Change OV<br />

Service in the OV Services application group.<br />

3. Open the Application Bank window and drag and drop the<br />

Field Change OV Service to opc_adm’s applications.<br />

4. Close the Application Bank windows and click [OK] in the<br />

Modify User window to save your changes.<br />

d. Restart the Administrator GUI.<br />

Select Map:Restart Session from the menu bar.<br />

e. Change the selection name in NNM's database.<br />

1. Select the changed node, that is the management server, in<br />

the Node Bank window, then select Edit:Add to Quick<br />

Navigator->Add Selected Objects from the menu bar.<br />

2. In the Node Bank window, select Window:Quick Navigator<br />

to open the Quick Navigator window.<br />

3. In the Quick Navigator window, right-click the node and<br />

select Object Properties… from the shortcut menu. The<br />

Object Properties window opens.<br />

4. In the Object Properties window, select Field Change<br />

from the list of Object Attributes, and then click<br />

[View/Modify Object Attributes…].<br />
