Changing Hostnames and IP Addresses
2. Click [Applications…] and select the Field Change OV
Service in the OV Services application group.
3. Open the Application Bank window and drag and drop the
Field Change OV Service to opc_adm’s applications.
4. Close the Application Bank windows and click [OK] in the
Modify User window to save your changes.
d. Restart the Administrator GUI.
Select Map:Restart Session from the menu bar.
e. Change the selection name in NNM database.
1. Select the changed node, that is the management server, in
the Node Bank window, then select Edit:Add to Quick
Navigator->Add Selected Objects from the menu bar.
2. In the Node Bank window, select Window:Quick Navigator
to open the Quick Navigator window.
3. In the Quick Navigator window, right-click the node and
select Object Properties… from the shortcut menu. The
Object Properties window opens.
4. In the Object Properties window, select Field Change
from the list of Object Attributes, and then click
[View/Modify Object Attributes…].
5. Change the old name to the new fully qualified domain name
(FQDN), then click [OK].
6. In the Object Properties window, click [Set Selection
Name…].
7. Choose the new FQDN, then click [OK] in the Set
Selection Name and in the Object Properties windows.
8. Verify the templates.
Verify that the templates are still assigned to the new node.
9. Redistribute all Event Correlation templates.
If you have changed the hostname, redistribute all Event-correlation
templates assigned to the management server.
Select Actions:Server->Install / Update Server Templates
from the menu bar of the Node Bank window.
