A large number of compla<strong>in</strong>ts received related to the non- acceptance of applications, representations, etc., by the Government and semi-Government offices. If accepted, such replies are not sent <strong>in</strong> the same language <strong>in</strong> which the petitions are 5.78<br />

5.84 Himachal Pradesh : Representations received <strong>in</strong> m<strong>in</strong>ority languages are replied to <strong>in</strong> H<strong>in</strong>di or <strong>in</strong> English. It may be noted that the State has a sizable group of Urdu speak<strong>in</strong>g people and Urdu is taught <strong>in</strong> the schools there. It should not at all the difficult there to arrange to send replies <strong>in</strong> Urdu also. <strong>The</strong> State Government should look <strong>in</strong>to this.<br />
