Piracy deprives the rightful authors and the publishers of their genuine profits and dumps on the market unauthorized and badly produced versions. The Committee feels that the Government should institute a probe into the whole matter in order to uncover and break the racket once and for all. To check the evil, all publishers should be asked to get themselves registered with the appropriate governmental authority. (7.90)
