GREENCROFT TWO<br />
Development of the UK’s newest wine bottling<br />
facility is well underway at our site in<br />
County Durham, constructed with <br />
sustainability at the heart of its design.<br />
Introducing Greencroft Two, Greencroft Bottling’s new state-of-the-art, self-powered home.<br />
Our new £21million building will be more than 22,000 square metres (equivalent to four football pitches) and<br />
will more than double the theoretical bottling capacity at Greencroft Bottling to 400 million litres per year.<br />
When complete, Greencroft Two will accommodate up to 8 bottling lines and seven ancillary lines for bag-inbox,<br />
key kegs and other types of sustainable packaging.<br />
We’re investing an additional £4.8million in sustainable practices at Greencroft Two. Our site is already<br />
powered by renewable wind energy thanks to our on-site wind turbines and we’ve added 3 Megawatts solar<br />
array on the roof which will create around 2.9m Kilowatt hours of electricity per year. The state-of-the-art,<br />
recyclable roof and wall insulation will make Greencroft Bottling’s new home one of the most thermally<br />
efficient buildings in the UK.<br />
