A luscious dark red coloured wine with purple<br />
hues. A lifted nose of vanilla, blackberry and red<br />
currant. The palate displays notes of spice and<br />
rich black fruits complemented with elegant<br />
oak. Perfectly balanced, with a firm, smooth<br />
tannin structure, it finishes with lengthy ripe<br />
fruit and French oak.<br />

Pristine Australian Vineyards. Pure water from the<br />
nearby, free flowing Murray River. Environmentally<br />
sound vineyard practices and grapes grown in<br />
McPherson’s vibrant sandy loam soil combine to<br />
make this super premium wine.<br />
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruby Cabernet.<br />
Rich, full bodied and vibrant, the XV range from<br />
McPherson <strong>Wines</strong> celebrates classic Australian red<br />
wine.<br />
Fruit is harvested from McPherson’s old vines from<br />
exceptional riverside vineyards. The vineyard is<br />
situated on the banks of the Murray River, and is of<br />
sandy soils, with excellent draining providing ideal<br />
conditions for growing high quality fruit. Separate<br />
parcels of the wine spent between 6 and 12 months in<br />
French oak barriques, after which the final blending<br />
of select parcels took place.<br />
Perfect with red meats and spicy Asian dishes, try this<br />
wine with a barbecued steak or slow cooked, rich beef<br />
ribs.<br />
