L’Autantique
For thousands of years the Autan wind blowing in from the sea
has been sweeping through Languedoc wine region in hot gusts,
shaping the vines in the style of their terroir. In other words,
authentic.
FRANCE - LANGUEDOC
Sailing through the waters of the Mediterranean Sea where the waves
are blown by the Autan wind, the ship "L'Autantique" is guided by
a unique compass. The compass told the crew to set course for the
Languedoc region and to start a new adventure. The crew decided,
as a matter of course, to settle in these lands and plant vines.
It was the ideal place for them: a fertile soil and, above all, the
Autan wind, the same wind that had guided them to this land, so
precious for growing this healthy vineyard and creating authentic
wines.

L’Autantique Chardonnay 2021/22
Pays d'Oc
Hints of white button mushroom on the nose
with a palate of golden apple, pear and quince.
Not overly oaked.
This Chardonnay is an explosion of fruity and
floral flavours combined with a lovely fleshy feel
on the palate.
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
L’Autantique Cabernet Sauvignon
2020/21
Pays d'Oc
Dark fruit flavours of blackcurrant (cassis),
black cherry, blackberry with notes of green bell
pepper, spice, tobacco, wood, and vanilla. Wellrounded
tannins and a long lingering finish.
Serve with meat, either grilled or in a sauce, or
cheese such as Camembert or Brie.

L’Autantique Sauvignon Blanc 2021/22
Pays d'Oc
Primary fruit flavours are citrus-led with lime
as well as green apple, freshly cut grass and
herbaceous notes of green bell pepper. A wine
with powerful aromas of exotic fruit (lychee and
mango) and citrus (lemon and grapefruit).
Serve chilled (8°-10°C) as an aperitif, with a
salad or seafood.
Grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc
L’Autantique Merlot 2021/22
Pays d'Oc
Garnet red colour. The wine rolls out intense,
complex flavours of ripe red fruit and spices
with red fruit aromas alongside floral hints. A
palate of dark red fruits infused with a little
vanilla.
Serve with red meat, cheese or Mediterranean
dishes.

L’Autantique Syrah Rosé 2021/22
Pays d'Oc
A nose of fresh raspberries, white cherries and
hibiscus. Notes of red berries, pomegranate,
and lemon zest leading to a long, tart finish and
a very fruity sensation on the palate.
Serve chilled (8°-10°C) with summer dishes
(salads, cold meats, grills, etc.)
L’Autantique Syrah 2022
Pays d'Oc
A big-bodied, dry red wine with a deep purple
hue. A velvety elegance on the palate which is
backed by big fruit and crunchy spice.
A charming bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry
and lilac. Silky and delicate on the palate with a
liquorice finish.

D
