3.3.1.4 Reboot<br />

Rebooting <strong>eWON</strong> is sometimes necessary (i.e. to validate some configuration changes).<br />

<strong>eWON</strong> version 5 offers three ways to perform a reboot:<br />

• From the Reboot menu from <strong>General</strong> configuration page<br />

• By using the "REBOOT" Basic command (see <strong>eWON</strong> programming Manual).<br />

• From the Reboot menu from Storage configuration menu (on page 73)<br />

You will have to wait that the <strong>eWON</strong> comes back to its normal state after restarting to get access to it again.<br />

Some special operation like "Upgrade the firmware of the Modem" requires a reboot with the BootOp parameter set to a specific value. Use the<br />

Special operation field to select the BootOperation to do. Now, only the Modem Upgrade value is available.<br />
