10.9 GSM modem Led behavior<br />

The modem led default behavior is to go solid green while PPP Is established and off otherwise.<br />

If this option is selected, the modem led will display the signal level as described here:<br />

The led must display 2 informations:<br />

• if the modem is connected.<br />

• the signal reception level.<br />

The representation uses an 8 seconds pattern, the first 4 seconds display the signal level and the last 4 seconds the connection state.<br />

Signal level: the signal level is displayed 4 times. The led goes on between 100msec to 900msec according to the signal level. Then the blink is<br />

repeated 3 more times.<br />

Connection state: for the last 4 seconds, the led is ON if connection is established (PPP connection established). The led is OFF if there is no<br />

ongoing connection.<br />

REM: the signal level displayed here is a rough indication, the exact level can be read from the modem configuration page in the <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />
