<strong>General</strong> <strong>Reference</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> <strong>eWON</strong> Configuration<br />

The <strong>eWON</strong> ADSL modem supports the ADSL2+ standard.<br />

The configuration is very simple and provides compatibility with PPPOE and PPPOA with VCMux and LLCMux implementations.<br />

When the ADSL modem is connected, the <strong>eWON</strong> will have a WAN interface connected to the Internet, it will be able to act as a gateway on the<br />

Internet and will be accessible from Internet on any port.<br />

Control Description<br />

Connection Type<br />

Always "PPPoE or PPPoA"<br />

PPPoE: Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet<br />

PPPoA: Point-to-Point Protocol over ATM<br />

User name Provided by the operator with your ADSL account<br />

Password Provided by the operator with your ADSL account<br />

PPP Mode<br />

Provided by the operator with your ADSL account.<br />

Choose between<br />

• PPPoE LLC<br />

• PPPoA VC-Mux<br />

• PPPoA LLC<br />

VPI Virtual Path Identifier is provided by operator (default: 8)<br />

VCI Virtual Channel Identifier is provider by operator (default: 35)<br />
