3.7 Script Setup<br />

<strong>General</strong> <strong>Reference</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> <strong>eWON</strong> Configuration<br />

The Script setup page that you can reach by clicking on the Script Setup link from the configuration navigation bar is used to create, modify or<br />

erase the scripts in the <strong>eWON</strong> and to test them.<br />

Basic is the language that is used to write these scripts.<br />

Further information about the structure and the syntax of this language is given in "<strong>eWON</strong> Programming Manual".<br />

The 3 available links in the script setup page are:<br />

• The Edit Scripts link: to create, modify or delete the scripts<br />

• The Script Control link: to test the scripts and enter one-shot commands<br />

• The Run/Stop link: to run or stop the Basic scripts<br />

3.7.1 The Edit script link<br />

The 2 predefined scripts that are present in the <strong>eWON</strong> are:<br />

• The Init section, which is executed once at the startup of the <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />

• The Cyclic section, which is executed cyclically by the <strong>eWON</strong>.<br />

This page is used to create, delete or edit script sections.<br />

• The cycle time of the <strong>eWON</strong> BASIC is not pre-determined!<br />

• This cycle depends on script itself.<br />

• If well programmed, you can achieve the cycle time within one second.<br />
