Robert Bilek<br />

Robert Bilek was born in 1956 and joined “Wiener Städtische” in 1973. In 1993, he was appointed<br />

head of human resources administration – payroll accounting and in 1999, he became head of human<br />

resources. Since January 2005, Mr. Bilek has been a member of the extended board of Wiener<br />

Städtische AG. His main responsibility in the extended board is coordination of domestic human<br />

resources, such as the development of training programs and the advancement of junior and senior<br />

management.<br />

In addition to his responsibilities at Wiener Städtische AG, Mr. Bilek currently holds directorships<br />

and offices in the following:<br />

Chairman of the savings and loan fund for employees of Wiener Städtische Allgemeine<br />

Versicherungsanstalt reg. Gen.m.b.H.<br />

Member of the supervisory board of VBV Vorsorgekasse AG<br />

Deputy Chairman of the Employers’ committee of the Austrian Insurance Association (VVO)<br />

President of the Austrian Institute for Professional Insurance Education (BÖV)<br />

Mag. Hermann Fried<br />

Mag. Hermann Fried was born in 1964. He joined University of Economics and Business<br />

Administration, Vienna Institute for regional development after completing his studies in business<br />

administration at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna. In 1994, he<br />

became assistant to the chairman of the management board of the Association of Social Insurance<br />

Agencies Austria. In 1997, he became Head of the controlling department in the Health- and Social<br />

fund of Lower Austria before he joined Wiener Städtische in 1998. Mag. Fried has worked in the<br />

health insurance department since joining Wiener Städtische AG. He was appointed deputy group<br />

head of health insurance in 2002, and became group head in 2004. Mag. Fried has been a member<br />

of the extended board of Wiener Städtische AG since January 2008. His responsibility in the extended<br />

board is to advise the management board with respect to personal health and life insurance.<br />

In addition to his responsibilities at Wiener Städtische AG, Mag. Fried currently holds directorships<br />

and offices in the following:<br />

Deputy Chairman of the Health Insurance Section of the Austrian Insurance Association (VVO)<br />

Mag. Helene Kanta<br />

Mag. Helene Kanta was born in 1958. After completing her law degree at the University of<br />

Vienna, she began working for the VVO in 1985 where she was head of the legal department and<br />

Syndic. She has been employed in the legal department of Wiener Städtische AG since 1997, and<br />

became head of the department in 2001. Mag. Kanta has been a member of the extended board of<br />

Wiener Städtische AG since January 2008 and provides advice to the management board, with<br />

respect to legal matters.<br />
