1. View the message you to which you wish to reply.
2. Click the Reply icon.
At the bottom of the page, an area is displayed in which you can enter
your message.
3. When you are finished, click the Post button/icon next to the message you
entered.
Your message is now posted as a reply.
Member Profiles
On most chat site, members have profiles. These profiles are be used for a
variety of purposes, such as providing information that you wish to share
about yourself, and securing your nickname so that it can only be used by
you.
Changing Rooms
Several different methods are available to move from room to room. If you
are using the interface with the integrated message board, you can enter a
room just by clicking its conference in the conference list on the left side of
the page.
If you do not have a message board conference list:
1. Select the Rooms tab from your ChatSpace window.
The Rooms tab displays the list of rooms to which you have access.
2. Double click any displayed room to enter that room. You also remain in
room that you entered into initially.
The following line of text is displayed:
*** Now talking in the ***
The Java Client allows you to be in several rooms simultaneously. Multiple
room tabs appear at the top of the chat screen. When members respond in a
room, the tabs of the room light up. This feature allows you to keep track the
conversations in each room.
Other Messages That May Be Displayed
You cannot join #. You have been banned (+b).
Either you have been banned from the named room, or someone else from
your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has been banned from it.
