This option allows ChatSpace to periodically attempt to connect to this
server, whenever it is currently not connected.
9. In the Password Expected field, enter the password that the other servers
will use to access the hub server.
10.In the Password Sent field, enter the password the hub will use to access
the added server.
11.Close the Server Connection Entry window and the ChatSpace
Configuration Tool.
Your entry is not saved until all windows of the Configuration Tool are
closed.
Connecting the Leaves to the Hub
Connecting a leaf to its hub requires you add a Hub Server Definition entry
in each leaf. Following the example, each Los Angeles leaf server requires
this definition:
1. Launch the leaf's Configuration Tool.
2. Access the Clustering tab.
3. Select Complex under Network Configuration.
4. In Hub Servers list, click Add.
The Server Connection dialog box is displayed.
5. In the ServerName field, enter the name of the hub server.
This name is the text that is listed in the Configuration Tool’s General
tab, ServerName field.
Following the example, the name of the West Coast hub would be
entered.
6. Check the box labeled Allow connect-out to server.
7. In the Hostname field, enter the TCP/IP host name for the server being
added to the cluster.
Continuing with the example, losangeles.hub.com could be entered for
one of the other servers.
Note
Dynamic IP addresses should not be used here. If added server has a Dynamic
IP address, an unchanging hostname should be obtained from a service such as
DynDNS.
