Setting Away Status You can set Instant Messenger to indicate that you are currently not available. When in the do not disturb mode, other members cannot send an instant message to you. 1. Click the Away button. A notice is displayed in your Buddies’ windows indicating the that you are not available. A Back button is displayed in your IM window to remind you to turn off the Away status when you return. 2. To leave Do Not Disturb mode click the Back button.
