Granting Operator or Administrator Status
You can also grant operator or administrator status to a member on a more
permanent basis.
To grant a member operator or administrator status:
1. Access the member’s profile.
a. Select the member’s nickname from a member list
b. Click the Member Profile button.
– or –
Right click in the member list and select Member Profile.
If no member is selected, you are prompted the enter a member’s
nickname.
2. Check the box to grant the appropriate rights, Administrator or Operator.
Only one option needs to be selected. It is not necessary to select both to
grant administrative rights.
3. Click OK.
The member now has access to all commands and functions of Operators or
Administrators.
Making a Profile Private
Only the administrator can set a member’s profile to be private. This setting
allows only an administrator and the member to see the profile.
To set a profile to private:
1. Access the member’s profile.
a. Select the member’s nickname from a member list
b. Click the Member Profile button.
– or –
Right click in the member list and select Member Profile.
If no member is selected, you are prompted the enter a member’s
nickname.
2. Check the Private Profile box.
3. Click OK.
