4. Click Edit.
5. In the Registered Nickname dialog, click Reset Passwrd.
6. Click OK.
7. Notify the member that his or her password is now the same as their
nickname. Remind them to change it.
Room Password
As an administrator, you can view and change room passwords for members,
operators and administrators.
To view a room password:
Click on the Rooms tab.
The password is displayed in parentheses, (password), in the Topic column.
A room password can either be changed from a client session or in the
Configuration Tool.
To change a room password from a client session:
1. Enter the room.
2. Double click in the room or click the Room Options button.
The Room Options are displayed either in the bottom panel or a separate
dialog, depending on the type of client that you are running.
– If your client displays a separate dialog:
Go to the Room Options tab.
Enter the new password in the dialog box’s Password to Enter field.
– If your client displays the Room Options in the bottom panel:
3. Click OK.
Click Set Room Password.
Enter the new password in the dialog box’s Password field.
To change a room password in the Configuration Tool:
1. Access the Configuration Tool.
2. Select the Rooms tab.
3. Select a room from the rooms list.
4. Click Edit.
5. Check the Entry Password check box.
