Delete—click this button to delete the currently selected registered room. Registered Room Fields Name—enter the name of the registered room. This name may not contain any embedded spaces. Topic—enter the topic of this room. This topic is displayed in the room list and in the title bar of members who are currently in this room. Room Welcome Message—enter a greeting to be sent whenever a member joins this room. Options For The Room Members Only (+j)—check this box to provide a controlled setting that allows only members assigned to the room to access that room. Invite Only (+i)—check this box to set the invite-only mode. No member (except Admins) may join the room unless a Room Moderator has issued the /INVITE command. 49
Max Occupancy (+l)—check this box to set a maximum number of members that can access the room at one time. If this box is checked, no other members may join (except Administrators). Use the arrow buttons to select your preferred value for Max. Occupancy. Overflow rooms when max (+w)—check this box to send new members attempting to join to numbered overflow rooms when maximum occupancy is reached. overflow rooms are created when a room limit is reached and Overflow rooms when max is checked. A new room is automatically created called 1, 2, and so on as needed. This option is useful for large events. Notify operator on overflow (+ )—When this option is checked, the moderator receives a chat message that a new overflow room has been created. Secret (+s)—check this box to create a secret room. This room is not seen in the room list unless the member issuing the list is already in the room or is an Administrator. Other members cannot tell that a member is in this room. Entry Password (+k)—check this box to require that members present a password in order to enter the room. This setting is also referred to a keyed room. Password required in order to enter the room—enter the required password here that members must use to enter this room (no spaces are allowed in the password). Strict Moderation (+m)—check this box to to require members to have Voice (which is indicated by a + in front of their nickname) in order to be heard in the room. No External Msgs (+n)—check this box to prevent members from sending messages into this room from outside the room. A configuration recommendation is to leave this option turned on. Moderators may not change settings—check this box to require that only Room Owners (as opposed to normal Room Moderators) may change room settings. P2P Chat with Moderators Only (+c)—check this box to not allow P2P chat between members, but may P2P chat with moderators. Live Help Queue (+g)—this option is only available on ChatSpace Premium. When checked, this option changes the room to a queued room. Any non-moderators entering this room are sent to another temporary room along with one of the moderators. This option is used for Live Help. Typically, a Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the moderator in a 50
