Arriving in Milan
Cadorna Station and its underground
mouths
surrounded by rivers of hurried
legs the rush
for another ticket
and this dampness
of slices the clock
the slalom among lighters
stop signals and children
with window panes
that remain grimy
An entire day ahead
chew slowly
But I have a new scarf
time’s hands on my carotids
And inside my throat
hides Rossini
Voices
from tables
rianimate December
Your gaze cancels distance
Blue winged
eyelashes
red smile of lips
“I’m the daughter of an absent father
The other,
a reassuring cohabitant
erotically disappointing
snores his eternal love to me
from midnight until dawn…
