Well (in color), changes in picture and sound framedby a specific time span = film. This is the most common idea of how film should, and does look like. Other innovations have turned out as dead end developments.The project Last row in the middle for the IDEA magazine can be understood as a result of a Svoboda’s long-term interest in the relationship between image and text,reality and its cinematic, literary and theatrical resemblance.
