9.2 Sammenfatning
Litteratur
Fysioterapi virker på funktionsevnen og ledsmerter, men ikke på sygdomsaktiviteten
som sådan. Effekten er dog kun dokumenteret inden for de nedenfor
nævnte områder, mens en række former for fysioterapi, som anvendes i
dag, ikke er evidensbaserede.
Patienter med leddegigt kan forbedre deres fysiske formåen ved almen
dynamisk træning (A).
Træning i bassin kan anvendes på lige fod med træning på land (A).
Lokal varme- og kuldebehandling har som symptomatisk behandling
en kortvarig smertelindring og forbedrer effekten af efterfølgende håndøvelser
(B).
Stiv halskrave kan mindske ledskred mellem de to øverste halshvirvler (B).
Fodindlæg kan afhjælpe forfodssmerter og bedre gangfunktionen (B).
Ortopædiske sko kan mindske mere udbredte smerter i foden og derved
bedre gangfunktionen (B).
