Reading Comprehension<br />

3 Semester Hours<br />

We will begin with simple ancient texts and proceed<br />

gradually to more challenging items while conducting a<br />

comprehensive review of Latin grammar and vocabulary.<br />

Class activities will include reading, translation, and written<br />

and oral exercises designed to help students internalize<br />

the language and/or refresh what they have learned in the<br />

past.<br />

Prerequisite: LATN 201 or equivalent.<br />

Latin Prose Composition<br />

Basic prose composition and study of poetic forms.<br />
