After the deadline, and before the final day of classes,<br />

students may withdraw from courses only for medical<br />

or psychological reasons. A written petition with<br />

accompanying documentation from a licensed professional<br />

should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar. The<br />

documentation from the licensed professional must certify<br />

that the student is not able to complete the semester for<br />

medical or psychological reasons. If approved, the student<br />

will be withdrawn from all courses and not a portion of<br />

the course schedule. Students are eligible for tuition and<br />

fee refunds according to the <strong>University</strong>’s published policy.<br />

Additional documentation from a licensed professional is<br />

required indicating that the student is able to resume study<br />

at the <strong>University</strong>.<br />

Withdrawal from the <strong>University</strong><br />

A withdrawal from the <strong>University</strong> is the termination of<br />

the academic program and course of study and the rights<br />

and privileges offered to currently enrolled students. (See<br />
