Athletic Training Practicum II<br />

1 Semester Hour<br />

Supervised experience in an athletic training environment.<br />

Additional study required with an emphasis on athletic<br />

training techniques and athletic injury management. An<br />

athletic training environment consists of any of the following<br />

sites: LMU athletic training room; local high school, college<br />

or university athletic training room; physical therapy clinic;<br />

or related health care facility.<br />

Prerequisite: NTLS 368.<br />

Workshop Biology: Life Works I<br />

3 Semester Hours<br />

The course discusses science pedagogy and allows students<br />

to experience working with science content as teachers,<br />

before they enter the classroom. Students will complete at<br />

least twenty hours of observation in high school classrooms<br />

and will be teaching lessons that they develop.<br />

Work experience in physical therapy at a private facility,<br />

hospital, or athletic training facility.
