A study of Black American art forms, such as music, dance,<br />

theatre, film, television, painting, sculpture, and literature,<br />

as they have developed in the African Diaspora from slavery<br />

to the modern age.<br />

African American History<br />

An analysis of the historical forces which shaped the African<br />

American experience in America from past to present.<br />
