The other important aspect of Dave’s activities has been his coming together with Wallace (Wal) Thornhill. Out
of this relationship many products and presentations have emerged that exquisitely describe the roots, concepts
and implications of the EU paradigm against the background of today’s accepted theories and the ancient
historical record of events. The most recent of Dave’s educational videos “The Lightning-Scarred Planet Mars”
takes an in-depth look at the surface features on Mars that we are able now to visually inspect very closely
indeed. This independent analysis of features on the Martian surface highlights from a new perspective and
in very clear, logical terms, how well the evidence for the creation of these features fits with the theories that
underpin the EU model. My hat is off to you, Dave, for this and all your other work.
Wal Thornhill [5-10] is an Australian astronomer, physicist, electronics
expert, author and international lecturer who has an impressive wealth of
real world experience in the EU theories of modern astro-science. He is a
quietly spoken man who exudes integrity and confidence through the vast
knowledge he expresses in his words. His are the original insights that built
the core of science theory for the EU model as it stands today; a core that is
impressive through its depth and breadth and its references to the work of
others on whose shoulders he has on occasion, respectfully stood.
Wal is the main-man in terms of the science behind the EU model. He is
the doyen and visionary who has brought its scientific theories together in a
form now presented as ‘common sense science’. His approach to the clear
presentation of scientific information shows up through his co-authoring
of books on the EU with Dave Talbott. I must also say that the archive of
easily digestible articles on Wal’s website is the database most accessed by
me during my relatively recent EU education. I have been highly impressed

by Wal’s ability to generate understandable explanations of theory and I am
so pleased to have met him in person on two occasions. These were in London when he was giving one of his
world-class lectures on EU theory for the Society of Interdisciplinary Studies in July 2010 and then in the US in
July 2011 when he was presenting the John Chappell memorial lecture at Maryland University for the Natural
Philosophy Alliance’s 18th annual conference.
Born in Melbourne, Australia, his education there took him through university into a globe-trotting job for
a number of years, first with IBM and then the Australian Government. He is yet another man who has been
hooked by Velikovsky’s work. It was from the learning and direction that Velikovsky’s ideas provided that Wal
decided to take up the challenge of revealing to the world the electric story of our universe. This self-imposed
task has now become Wal’s lifetime commitment and he is another man whom I respect greatly.
