In terms of the job I originally set myself, I saw it from the start to be only that of an 'introducer of information'
which I hoped, at the very least, would provide reason for the reader to open their awareness to questionable
aspects of so-called 'settled astro-science theory', and at the very best, it might turn out to be an introduction
for some to a whole new way of thinking about our universe. As individuals, keen for whatever reason to be
involved in the discovery and understanding of accurate knowledge, we have a duty to make ourselves aware of
what is going on across the range of scientific research activities that interest us. If we do not do this, then we
are in danger of suspending our ability to judge by merely adopting the opinion of those who appear, for some
reason, to deserve our respect. Going down this path will not help us develop our own legitimate viewpoints
and knowledge; instead, we will end up collecting what is abundant out there, the opinions, prejudices and
misconceptions of others.
The simple thing for objectors to do is to dismiss EU supporters as misguided and/or somehow disgruntled
folk. However, the smart among them who are already suspicious of what the mainstream has been saying have
started on their own to look at alternative theories to refine their core beliefs. Looking at popular astro-science
internet forums and previously non-involved science and astronomy websites where discussions on EU-related
subjects now take place, it seems that things are changing. Of course there are those who will say the EU is all
nonsense, dismiss it and move on. I regret this because I believe one should be open to all types of constructive
discussion that lead to progress and I certainly have time for people who make a respectful effort to explain why
they think in a particular way. This scenario would also be good for the interested public because it would help
maintain a focus, encourage deeper interest and develop a base of understanding on which to build. At the end
of the day, however, it will be the real experts in these fields who will present the professional case for change to
open-minded scientists with influence to bring that change about. So, to summarise what has been covered ...
Today’s Standard Model of the Universe has been inspected and analysed to the point where we now have a
good understanding of how and why it has evolved into the confusion of questionable theories we now have.
Many of these are shown to either be unworkable in terms of the science on which they are based, or to have
arisen with no value solely from wishful, imaginative thinking. The Standard Model is therefore fatally flawed.
This state of affairs is generally known but for various reasons it is not being addressed. So for everyone’s sake,
but especially that of our children, we have a situation in astro-science that cannot be left unchallenged.
It seems clear now that the relevance of fundamental electrical, magnetic and plasma theories in the astroscience
research context has been ignored for over a century. Instead, Newtonian mechanics and relativistic
gravity theories have been focussed on that have mainly produced uncoordinated and limited useful results.
Modern advancements in technology, general science and in astro-science in particular, have led to more
revealing analyses of the better data to which we now have access. Due to the substantial background support
for the EU model that has arisen from this, and due to the ever more obvious logic of the situation, we now face
the challenge of coming to terms with the realisation that electric currents do indeed flow throughout space.
