HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING Program Description: The High Performance Computing (HPC) program provides educational opportunities for future HPC field engineers in medicine, gaming, imaging, business and other areas. High performance computers such as PC clusters are a collection of interconnected computers working together as a single computing resource to accomplish tasks that otherwise would take long periods of time to complete. The goal of the HPC degree program is to cater to the emerging trends in advanced computing as well as the contemporary and futuristic human resource requirements of the information technology industry. T h e program offers courses suitable for a range of users from beginners to working professionals who wish to upgrade and enhance their knowledge. D e g re e :Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)
