The Surveying certificate program curriculum provides the basic skills needed to enter<br />

a career in surveying. Courses are offered at night and normally meet one or two nights<br />

TRAVEL & TOURISM (INSTITUTIONAL CERTIFICATE)<br />

The Travel and Tourism certificate program introduces students to the hospitality<br />

industry with particular emphasis on tourism, travel, and hospitality management.<br />

<strong>Program</strong> content emphasizes an understanding of the multifaceted segments of the<br />

industry and their respective interactions. Additional topics include travel planning and<br />

reservation procedures in conjunction with operational management and destination<br />

services. Completion of the required certificate courses can be applied to the<br />

Hospitality A.A.S. degree. Courses in each level (Foundation, Core, A d v a n c e d<br />

Track) must be completed prior to advancing to the next level. W h e re more<br />

than one course is off e red within a level, courses may be taken in any sequence.<br />
