• House prices are lower<br />
• Salaries are lower and career path doesn’t look exciting<br />
• How do you keep good staff in Adelaide?<br />
• Benefits <strong>of</strong> being in a small community need to be addressed<br />
• They just had all their interstate sales people to Adelaide last week – and they<br />
were surprised to find out so many things going on.<br />
• People want to retire here and to raise children here. Perceived as a great place<br />

• SA residents don’t talk up the area when they are in other regions. They do not<br />

• Action item for SA is to get the real figures on young people wanting to leave SA.<br />
SA used to be seen as the innovative state, it is the second place in the world to give<br />
women the vote. also early for women entering universities. Now they are seen as being<br />
behind – even though they don’t think they are. “sleepy hollow and poor relative’<br />
community. There are cultural issues that override everything else that are going on.<br />
