architect/engineer services in support of APF<br />
construction and in support of NAF construction,<br />
provided that no additional personnel<br />
authorizations are required;<br />
investment equipment in support of food<br />
preparation equipment;<br />
purchase of real property as approved by<br />
Congress: and<br />
use of existing facilities.<br />
3. Joint Service Facility, temporary lodging facilities, and<br />
<strong>recreation</strong> rental equipment checkout activities are<br />
authorized to use APF to support the following:<br />
a.<br />
b.<br />
C.<br />
d.<br />
e.<br />
f.<br />
h.<br />
personnel performing managerial functions, or<br />
requiring technical/professional qualifications or<br />
those accountable for appropriated funded resources,<br />
and the protection of the interest of the Federal<br />
Government;<br />
use of Government owned vehicle/Government contracted<br />
vehicles, for other than to assist in executive<br />
control and command supervision;<br />
utilities, including fuel, in the continental United<br />
States (including temporary lodging facilities);<br />
equipment maintenance for Government owned equipment<br />
authorized for or on loan to MWR activities:<br />
custodial and janitorial services (except exchanges,<br />
which must use NAF);<br />
maintenance and repair performed on a recurrent, day-<br />
to-day, periodic or schedule work required to<br />
maintain and support activity operations;<br />
supplies that are not related to the sale of<br />
merchandise or services; and<br />
equipment not related to the sale of merchandise or<br />
services.<br />
4. Business activities (Category C) located in extremely<br />
remote and isolated areas, as approved by Congress, may<br />
be provided appropriated support similar to that<br />
authorized for basic community support activities<br />
(Category B).<br />
