Chapter 9. DISTRIBUTION OF COAST GUARD EXCHANGE SYSTEM (CGES)<br />
FUNDS TO MWR<br />
A. PurPose. The CGES profit distribution method is intended to<br />
provide fair and equitable MWR funds to all Coast Guard<br />
districts, MLC's, and Headquarters units so they can provide<br />
reasonable MWR activities at all units under their<br />
cognizance.<br />
B. CGES Remittances. Detailed instructions on submission of<br />
remittances by CGES activities are included in Comptroller<br />
Manual Vol. VII, Non-appropriated Fund Activities Manual<br />
(COMDTINST M7010.5 (series)) enclosure (19). The following<br />
is an overview of this process:<br />

profit (AP).<br />
2. Available Profit (AP) shall be distributed as follows:<br />

(1) 20 percent of AP to unit MWR;<br />
(2) 25 percent of AP to District/MLC MWR to be<br />
redistributed to units;<br />
(3) 30 percent of AP to COMDT (G-PXM); and<br />
(4) 25 percent of AP to COMDT Construction Fund.<br />
Headquarters units with CGES activities:<br />
(1) 75 percent of AP to unit MWR; and<br />
(2) 25 percent of AP to COMDT Construction Fund.<br />
Exceptions to remittance requirements:<br />
(1) CG Activities Europe - exempt from all<br />
remittance; and<br />
