C7.CONCLUSION:
The afore-mentioned consists of the strategic intent of the municipality that was developed by taking
National and Provincial priorities and strategies into consideration. The vision, mission and values were
reviewed and amended. Strategic objectives and objective strategies were reviewed and amended and
programme strategies developed through which the strategic objectives are operationalised. Projects
have been identified and prioritized and will be dealt with in the next chapter. The strategic intent will
be implemented through development of scorecards on different levels which will be monitored,
evaluated, assessed and review on annual basis. The implementation will be dealt with under the
section Organisational Performance Management.
