2. Performs successfully in accordance with all manufacturer’s and Contractor’s technical and<br />

user specifications; the ODPS reserves the right to conduct measurements of performance<br />

against the manufacturer specifications at any time during this period.<br />

3. Demonstrates ease of operation.<br />

4. Operates effectively and efficiently, without equipment, component, or software driver<br />

failures, for a sustained period of 45 consecutive calendar days, or less at ODPS’ option,<br />

during which DL/ID solution performs at an effectiveness level of 99.5% uptime per location<br />

per week.<br />

5. Demonstrates problem-free interfaces to the ODPS system applications (BASS).<br />

6. Produces acceptable cards that meet the specified security and durability criteria.<br />

D. If the DL/ID solution does not, in the sole judgment of the ODPS, perform or operate in accord<br />

with the criteria set forth in this <strong>RFP</strong> for 45 consecutive calendar days, the Alpha Test Period may<br />

continue, at ODPS’ sole discretion, on a day-to-day basis until the DL/ID solution, in ODPS’ sole<br />

judgment, meets all such criteria for 45 consecutive calendar days, or less at ODPS’ option.<br />

System Testing and Acceptance Period – Beta/Pilot Test Period at Five (5) Deputy Registrars<br />

A. Once the Alpha Test Period is declared successful by the ODPS, system training and system<br />

installations shall commence at five initial sites as determined and scheduled by the ODPS in<br />

preparation for the Beta/Pilot Test Period. The Contractor must, and the ODPS will, conduct an<br />

operational site systems test and review after each site is installed and certified ready for<br />

production implementation.<br />

B. Once all five initial sites are declared ready for production implementation by the Contractor and<br />

the ODPS in writing, the Beta/Pilot Test Period will begin. The Beta/Pilot Test Period must be a<br />

production testing period at five initial sites where the Contractor must successfully demonstrate<br />

all requirements of this <strong>RFP</strong> (including all addenda and any resulting Contract) for 30 consecutive<br />

calendar days, or less at ODPS’ option.<br />

C. In order to pass the Beta/Pilot Test Period, the Contractor must successfully demonstrate that the<br />

DL/ID solution meets all requirements of this <strong>RFP</strong> (including all addenda and any resulting<br />

Contract) and performs all functions at an effectiveness level of 99.5% uptime per location per<br />

week. There will be no more than two (2) remedial maintenance tasks for the same problem and<br />

agency for 30 consecutive calendar days while operating in full production mode.<br />

D. The Beta/Pilot Test Period testing must include, but not be limited to testing to confirm, to the<br />

satisfaction of the ODPS, that the DL/ID solution:<br />

1. Performs successfully in accordance with all the requirements specified in this <strong>RFP</strong> (including<br />

all addenda and any resulting Contract).<br />

2. Continues to perform successfully in accordance with all manufacturer’s and Contractor’s<br />

technical specifications and user specifications; the ODPS reserves the right to conduct<br />

measurements of performance against the manufacturer specifications at any time during this<br />

period.<br />

3. Demonstrates ease of operation.<br />

4. Operates effectively and efficiently, without equipment, component, or software driver<br />

failures, for a sustained period of 30 consecutive calendar days, or less at ODPS’ option,<br />
