h. Planned absence of Project staff and their expected return date.<br />

i. Notification of any known staffing changes.<br />

j. System integration activities, as appropriate.<br />

k. A risk analysis of actual and perceived problems, including proposed<br />

mitigation steps. The Contractor's proposed format and level of detail<br />

for the status report will be subject to ODPS approval.<br />

5. Delivery of monthly status reports, due to the ODPS point of contact by the fifth<br />

workday following the end of each month during the Project. Monthly status<br />

reports must contain, at a minimum, the following:<br />

a. A description of the overall completion status of the Project in terms of<br />

the approved project work plan.<br />

b. Plans for activities scheduled for the next month.<br />

c. Deliverable status, with percentage of completion and time ahead or<br />

behind schedule for particular tasks.<br />

d. A risk analysis of actual and perceived problems, including proposed<br />

mitigation steps.<br />

e. Testing status and test results.<br />

f. Strategic changes to the project work plan, if any.<br />

g. Inventory Bank Management Report.<br />

h. Maintenance Performance Report.<br />

6. Management of the deliverable acceptance process.<br />

7. Management of the change control process.<br />

8. Identification of the quality standards relevant to the project and how to satisfy<br />

them.<br />

Project Manager Requirements: The State will provide oversight for the entire Project.<br />

However, the Project Manager must provide overall project management for the tasks in the<br />

Project, which includes assisting with task assignment for both the State and contracted staff<br />

on the Project. The project management methodology used by the Contractor must include<br />

the functions of the 9 Project Management Knowledge Areas contained in the Project<br />

Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Throughout the<br />

project the Contractor must employ ongoing project management techniques to ensure a<br />

comprehensive project plan is developed, executed, monitored and maintained.<br />

A. The required skills of the project manager are as follows:<br />

1. Establish communication among project team members.<br />

2. Clear understanding of project scope and purpose.<br />

3. Ability to define and control project scope.<br />

4. Ability to identify, monitor and track tasks, deliverables and milestones.<br />

5. Ability to assign appropriate resources to the tasks defined.<br />

6. Assessment and mitigation of project risks.<br />

7. Capability and mechanism to project performance.<br />

8. Identification and communication of problem areas.<br />
