9.4 All charges such as wages and other statutory payments admissible to the
contractor’s employees, should be considered while quoting the service
charges.
10.0. SCHEDULE OF RATE
10.1 The schedule of rates (SOR) shall be read in conjunction with special conditions of
contract, general conditions of contract, technical specifications, drawings and
any other document forming a part of this contract. The quantities shown against
the various items are only approximate and subject to any variations as per
the stipulation made in general conditions of contract.
10.2 The owner reserves the right to interpolate or extrapolate the rates for any new item
of work not covered in schedule of rates from the similar items already available in
schedule of rates. All the works, item wise, shall be measured upon completion
and paid for at the contracted rates. In case any activity though specifically
not covered in schedule of rates description but the same is covered under
scope of work/specification/drawings etc. No extra claim on this account shall be
entertained, since SOR is to be read in conjunction with other documents forming
part of the contract.
10.3 All items of work in the Schedule of Rates shall be carried out as per the scope of
work , drawings and instructions of the EIC or its authorized representative and the
rates are inclusive of all consumables, labour, supervision, tools and tackles,
incidental, intermediate/auxiliary/ancillary or enabling works.
11.0 PHOTOGATEPASS / LABOUR PERMISSION / VEHICLE PERMISSION/
SAFETY NORMS:
11.1 The contractor shall arrange to make photo gate passes / labour permissions/
vehicle passes etc. for his persons / labour / vehicles including police
verification of its deployed personnel’s and follow all safety norms/procedures
for working at site at his own cost and as per rules of the company
12.0. ALTERATION, ADDITIONS AND OMISSIONS:
12.1 GAIL may suggest any variation of quantity of the work or part thereof that may, in
his opinion be necessary and for that purpose or if for any other reason it shall, in
his opinion be desirable then GAIL shall have power to order in writing to the
contractor to do any of the following:
12.1.1 Increase or decrease in the quantity of any work included in the contract.
12.1.2 Omit any such work or SOR item.
12.1.3 Execute additional work of any kind necessary for the completion of the work
