5.6 The rates are "all inclusive". These rates include but are not limited to all costs and
allowances, taxes, fringe benefits, protective and/or special clothing, construction
supplies required for work of a nature included in this contract, overhead,
profit, insurance, transportation and travel time.
5.7 The rates are inclusive of providing hand tools, machinery such as welding machine,
grinding machine, gas/welding cutting set and consumables such as fuel,
lubricants, electrodes, filler wire, gases, grinding wheels where the concerned
category of echnical Manpower is expected to use in execution of the job but
exclusive of all major equipment and machinery like cranes.
5.8 The normal time rates shall apply for all hours worked upto EIGHT (8) hours in a
day including Sunday and Public holiday and separate rates shall apply for all
the hours worked in excess of EIHT(8) hours in one day as per SOR. The
payment for part of the day shall be made on pro-rata basis.
5.9 The quoted rates shall be on actual working at site as per clause no. 5.8 above and
excluding the time for mobilization and transportation of man & machinery to
site. No other payment shall be made for mobilization and transportation charges of
man & machinery to site / any taxes or duties/ Fuel / any other consumables.
The Lump Sump hourly Rental charges should include all cost components.
5.10 The arrangement of state entry permits like FORM 31, FORM 38 Inward , FORM 38
Outward ,FORM 71 etc shall be in the scope of the contractor/ Agency.
5.11 The above mentioned services are required for emergency/ shutdown jobs and
hence can be operated at any time during the day on any week days (including
Saturday, Sunday, Holidays).
5.12 The above gives only the general scope of work, however, tenderer is supposed to
acquaint himself of the various items as detailed in the SOR and also deemed
to have visited the site and fully assessed the nature of work, site conditions,
availability of storage space for materials, work areas available for construction,
disposal/ stacking of surplus materials etc. and to acquint himself with the general
nature of the site and its other features likely to affect his tender and the
construction of works before quoting rates. No claim/ extension of time what-soever
shall be entertained on account of prevailing site conditions.
