40.2 The Contractor shall maintain the confidentiality of all other orders/ information and
shall neither disclose to anyone nor use the same for any purpose, what so ever
with out prior written approval of GAIL.
41.0 TIMING FOR GENERAL SHIFT AND ROUND THE CLOCK SHIFT DUTY :
41.1 Timing for GENERAL SHIFT/ General duty Will be 09:15 hrs. To 17:45 hrs.
Services Shall be provided on all day except on Sundays & holidays.
41.2 Timing for round the clock shift duty shall be all days irrespective of Sundays &
holidays.
41.0 GAIL Shall depute EIC for this service contract at the time of award of the work.
42.0 Safety & Security:
42.1 The contractor‘s staff shall abide by the existing security and safety
rules/regulations, precautions as per instructions given from time to time.
The contractor and his employees may also be required to pledge
security and non-divulgence of the nature of work of GAIL.
43.0 Nuisance:
43.1 The Contractor shall not at any time do cause or permit any nuisance in
area of work in GAIL, NCR and within 200 meters of above areas or do
anything which shall cause unnecessary disturbance or inconvenience
to owners and GAIL officials or tanents or occupants of other properties
near the works area and to the public in general. The Contractor shall
deal with all labour union(s) and labour dept. should the
labour/workers/cleaners individually or collectively stage an obstruction other
nuisance in front of GAIL colony.
43.2 Further GAIL may take action of restricting the entry of Contractor and its
employees from indulging in public nuisance, violent activity causing
damages to GAIL’s person or property.
43.3 The Contractor in addition bear all cost of keeping law and order situation
under.
44.0 Other Conditions:-
44.1 The Contractor shall obtain all necessary insurance policy covering all risks
such as accidents, injuries, death caused to his employees or labourers
or to third person including loss to the properties of owner/GAIL or to some
other agency. The contractor shall submit the proof that he has purchased
an insurance policy as mentioned above.
