GAIL (India) Limited is one of the outstanding Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) in the
country today. It is one of the Navratna Company. Gas transmission and distribution forms
bulk of GAIL’s business today followed by gas processing for LPG production and production
of petrochemical products (HDPE & LLDPE) and transmission of LPG through pipeline.
GAIL was established by Government of India in August, 1984 for post handling postexploration
activities related to natural gas. GAIL has emerged and maintained its position
No. 1 Gas Company of India. It has also received several safety awards from the Oil
Industry safety Council. It’s processing plant received highest 5 star rating and the
prestigious “Sword of Honour” from the British Safety Council. The company’s pipeline
systems, LPG plants and Gas Technology Institute have received the ISO 14001 certification.
ISO 14001 was also awarded to UP Petrochemical Plant, making GAIL one of the first Indian
companies in the petroleum sector to secure this certification.
HVJ & GREP gas pipeline and its branch pipelines of various diameters ranging from 36" to
4" have been laid underground to supply natural gas and R-LNG to various customers such
as power plants, fertilizer plants and chemical plants etc. in the states of Gujarat, M P,
Rajasthan, U.P., Haryana and Delhi-NCR through a pipeline network of approx. 3000 kms.
The HVJ & GREP pipelines and its branch lines have 3-layer polyethylene coatingand
impressed current system has been provided for the Cathodic Protection of the pipelines.
The subject of this tender is to invite Bids from reputed Contractor / Agency to provide
different support services and peripheral services at the different Work Points under NCR
GAS O&M offices as mentioned in Annexure .
2.0 Scope for Assistance Services for NCR, O&M office at Bharat Scout & Guide
Building:
2.1. Front Desk Management assistance services
NCR GAS O&M shall have one Reception desk/counter at the main entrance of the
building and shall be situated adjacent to the lobby.
The reception desk will primarily handle the following jobs/activities.
External Hospitality and protocol duties
Welcome to Company Guest /Visitors
Facilitating the process of receiving and registering guest
Issuance of passes to the guest/visitors after confirming from the
concerned officer/group.
