terminals under NCR gas O&M offices of GAIL situated at different locations as
mentioned in annexure.
4.2 The services will be provided based on the organizational requirement as assessed
and identified from time to time.
4.3 The list of Equipments / Instruments available in the said 10 work points and its
scheduled maintenance frequencies have been detailed out in Annexure .
4.4 The Contractor/Agency shall provide the following Minimum but not limited to
services in the below mentioned Major & Small terminals, Pipelines and its
associated Installations
4.4.1 Services at NCR office:
To provide support to Fire Safety / Electrical /O&M/ Telecomm & SCADA Services
Maintenance and Upkeep of back-up batteries (both Lead Acid & Nickel –
Cadmium), application of petroleum jelly and topping up of Water in 220 Volts/
48 Volts battery banks.
Upkeep and cleaning of on-line chargers/ Battery chargers/ UPS
Fire Extinguishers physical checks and operation
Cleaning of all the covered Telecomm & SACDA equipments, panels and
associated
peripherals.
To assist the GAIL engineers for operation and maintenance of the Telecomm
system installed at NCR Office Checking of Spare optical fibers & recording result
on pipeline route
Any Specialized O&M jobs not mentioned above however required to be carried
out on specific need basis.
4.4.2 Major & Small Terminals :
4.4.2.1 Mechanical works :
Servicing and checking of scrapper barrel and pig handling trays including
servicing of valves and putting back into operation.
Upkeep of scrubber by venting and draining including disposal of dust as per
direction of EIC/ Rep.
Opening, Maintenance and upkeep of filter separators including cleaning of
elements and closing of filter housing.
Opening, Maintenance and upkeep of dry filters including cleaning of elements
and closing of filter housing.
To Assist GAIL engineers for servicing , sealant injection and greasing of ball &
Plug valves of sizes ranging from 36"-24", 18"--12", 8", 6” , 4” , 3” , 2” .
To assist GAIL engineers in Maintenance / Servicing of Valve Actuators.
To assist GAIL engineers in removal , servicing , testing and installation of PSVs
(sizes ranging from 6” to ½”)
Any Specialized Mechanical Works/ jobs not mentioned above however required
to be carried out on specific need basis.
